Disabled access at the
Red Kite Feeding Centre
Four of the hides are wheelchair friendly with ramps and internal access - see images on the right..
Parking for up to four vehicles is possible right outside the hides for those not able to walk the 100 metres from the carpark.
It should be noted that the hides fill up very rapidly during the summer so those who need to drive down to the hides and have a place inside should either arrive before 2pm in summer or else ring us 01597810243 before hand so that a place can be reserved.
A new addition is the wheelchair accessible photographic hide. This new hide has the same roof arrangements as the towers; - the front half of the hide has no roof so allowing full access birds in flight while the rear of the building has cover in case of unpredictable weather.

Low ramps provide access to the washroom, the Kite Centre and Shop, and the entire yard has a tarmaced surface.
