Number of Breeding Pairs of Red Kites in the United Kingdom
Prolificacy
When viewing this data it should be remembered that re-introduced red kites from the European continent were taken from only those nests that were most prolific. i.e. No chicks were taken from nests containing but one chick.
Welsh red kites are of a far greater natural diversity; hence the potential for disparity in productivity.
