The tower is just over 6 meters (20ft) wide, and about 2.1 meters (7ft) deep. The floor is 1.2 meters (4ft) below the existing hides roof line.
Clothing. As you will be very visible above the roof-line it would be prudent to wear unremarkable colours..
Access to the hide has to be before feeding begins as current trials have shown disturbance to the birds when heads first pop above the parapet.
The area has a partial roof as protection should the weather be fickle, a bench is fixed at the rear of the hide and coat hooks are on the left side. It has a green line on the floor behind which standing is permited.

The GateWay hide'.

The area through which used to I drive has now been moved to just past the last hide in the row.

This has freed the existing gateway for another hide and this is a good 12ft closer to the kites than the tower. The aperture of this facility reaches from the roof board down close to the level of the existing hides windowsills.

The image on the right shows the window area.This gives a major advantage for large lenses and film cameras. Access to this hide is £10.00/person.
